Can you guys tag anyone else who might be interested in this? We can then start a private group and then add each other and endorse skills/write references.
@ProfessionallyTrill we already added each other and wrote references/endorsed skills

Me too.I'm interested. What is the next step?
how do you endorse ? i have a linkedin but i dont get on it much or know about its features
Do endorsements really matter if they come from outside your networking circle?
I have little to no endorsements but I stay getting job inquiries on LinkedIn, mainly cuz people see my employment history or see I'm connected to someone they know.
Maybe I'm thinking about it wrong but I don't see how fake endorsements aren't easily Id'd and ignored
I understand how endorsements work as I have legit ones. All Endorsements are is someone "vouching" for your skills. Basically it's this:
I say I'm good at "marketing"
people who know me "endorse" it.
When job posters see my profile they can see, "oh 100 people endorse him for marketing"
So it gives me a little "boost" in their eyes that 100 people have endorsed my skills.
It's NOT the end all be all of a LinkedIn profile, but it doesn't hurt to have more rather than fewer endorsements on your skillsif it didn't matter at all, I doubt they would include the feature.
A few brehs and I have also shared writing recommendations for each other![]()

But if I'm a recruiter and see some endorsements from people that aren't in your industry, company, or job function....I'm looking at you like you fraudulent.
