I like the show it's a hood soap opera at best and entertaining. I can see why someone would think it's stereo types black people, but let's not act like there isn't these type of black people in the world. Worldstar is full of stereotypes in real life, but it seems like the "conscious" community doesn't believe in self responsibility.
The executives at FOX NETWORK ran down the following check list before Premiering the New show "EMPIRE" tonight........ here's that check list...
1.) Black Men killing each other.... "check"
2.) Angry Black Woman going after a Black male "check"
3.) Educated, Successful Black Male with a White Woman "check"
4.) Display of Effeminized Black Males "check"
5.) Blacks committing crimes and going to prison "check"
6.) Two Bitter Black Women going after each other ....one being lightskin, the other brown skin.... "check"
7.) The Promotion of Ignorant ass Crack Baby Rap Music "check"
8.) Overweight Black Woman displaying her self hate by wearing a BLONDE WIG "check"
THIS SHOW IS GONNA BE A HIT !!!!! BRILLIANT
What's left off of this "checklist" is
1.) Ever race kill each other , i guess the person that made this checklist must be one of those "but what about black on black crime" type of person.
2.) Black man with his own successful company that's being left in the family, also is taking his company public on the stock market. Which will create generational wealth.
3.)"Angry Black Woman" that was instrumental in her mans success, but received divorced papers while being locked up. Watches her sacrifice that helped build his empire all while she's locked up, yea i guess anyone would be angry if he or she was to go thru that.
4.)Actually it's only one black male that's effeminized; the other is Latino. Is the Latino community up in arms about it? Probably not.
5.) Son disrespect mother, mother whoops that ass. Troubled employee disrespect the bosses ex wife, that's also a part of the company; employee gets contract terminated.
6.) Blacks committing crime...see number 1
7.)The Black Women aren't bitter, just one want what she feels is owed to her. The other doesn't want her around her ex.
8.) That overweight Black Women is wearing some outfits and attitude shows anything other than self hate.
9.) It's a soap opera.
It's not that serious you've got nothing to prove to me.
I'm trying to understand your need to keep this going. I think that your lame who's opinion shouldn't be taken seriously. That hurts your feelings for whatever reason. And? What else? You trying to convince me otherwise?
