Not an expert, in this area so this is just an analysis

but the base salary comp for the CEO of Morgan Stanley was 1.5 million, of course there's stock and bonuses and all that too

but I think those bonuses were based on her commissions.

edit: asked someone in that world, or the VC one, and she said a few million before partner, and maybe 10 after. but she could be wrong too lol

As the show tells it, it's Petra's returns, and Harper selling herself/the fund. She's not PC. She's not the standard corporate drone. Like the "couple of McKinsey types, trying to out outrage each other....textbook" Those old money types don't like the new corporate shyt. Like the guy in E1 who said "Chattam House rules"

and even if investment banking is not a meritocracy, she plays like it is, like she laid out for Eric in the first interaction. Whether it's entirely realistic or not....i mean nah probably not.

Most of it is faith in petra. Anna only lets her handle 20% of the fund's money for trading, but the funds she does touch accounts for over 50% of FutureDawn's revenue. That's taking into account the shackles Anna has on Petra, trading wise. So they saying "imagine what she could do with a lot more money". Then Harper sold it well too with that play at the panel on top of "talking the talk". Let's not forget Harper does know her shyt and was rising in Pierpoint. Eric just fukked her over by revealing the fake graduation shyt.

Then Jesse Bloom seems to have vouched for Harper too.

Is this the first time they mentioned Jesse being locked up or did I miss it earlier?

I was shocked when he lived when I first started watching it lol. Great decision though, he made the show.
