Right. Everyone on the internet seems to be writing it off as Eric being horrified by the passport as proof that he didn't know she was underage. When it's just as likely that he's horrified that he's being caught. I still can't tell. Every single possibility is just as riveting as the last. Either Hayley and her cousin are manipulating Yas, or Yas knows Eric was set up and is lying to tear down Harper's world and make her as lonely as she is, or Eric truly is the demonic POS. Masterful writing.
And to think Succession only lasted 4 seasons
I told my wife as soon as Hayley said that, that Yas was become a Ghilsane Maxwell type, connecting her with powerful dudes to sleep with for access.
I don't think Eric knew. The name in the phone was like "Dolly Hotel Girl." She was in the opening episode kicking it with Hayley at the club and he probably met her at the bar in the hotel he was living in.
I'm actually not even sure if the girl is underage or not. We know Whitney has access to people that can make good fake looking passports. When Harper asks Yas she says something to the effect of "Guys like thinking the girls are underage because it's illicit and girls lie about their age to get in"

The bloom coming off the rose of Whitney was masterful, too. He was entirely smoke and mirrors. We went from mid-season thinking he was some evil genius to finding out he was merely a puppet and not nearly as smart as he thought he was.
At lot of parallels between Yas and Ghilsane, down to how both their fathers died
Loved the foreshadowing with Kwabena telling Harper that his friend who went to school with Yasmin thought she was a sadist. Kinda prepping both the viewer and Harper, as they break the illusion of Yasmin being this innocent victim.
Kwabena: A friend went to school with her and said she's crazy as shyt.
Harper: You don't know what she's been though, she's a survivor
Yas: Hey Harp, I've got you seated next to two Nazis, let's catch up after dinner where the girls I trafficked from all over the world are prepping these old rich powerful people for sex that will be recorded.

Oh well they based her on Ghislaine, that’s why. Exploring how someone like that may develop and how they would exist in that world.
Because Maxwell surely wouldn’t pimp herself out, but she clearly wasn’t above that life and didn’t do anything with her connections to set herself up with a real career and life built on substance.
But there are so many women who are victims who eventually don’t care about other girls going through the same pain because no one saved them. Thus, Yas fully going to the dark side.

Yea. Kwabena tried to warn her. Yas is Harper’s blindspot. She thought she had one person she could truly relate to and trust on some level, but Yas shattered that.
And Kwabena called it. Yas has been a POS since her youth. Do we feel bad for her because she was literally doomed from birth, or do we save fukk it because she allowed the trauma to turn her into a monster…….
We saw that with Yas in season 2. Nowhere the same level, but Kenny or someone told Sweet Pea to get them coffee and she went "I'm not your secretary
" and Yas pulled her to the side like "I had to get the coffee, you need to do it too, it's how things work
" and Sweet Pea hit her with the

Harper the world killer. Made stupid bank off the short which was actually a Russian intel op. Her partner and mentor left in quiet disgrace. Needs to stay away from windows and watch her back now.
This felt like the series finale. Wonder what direction they take S5 in.
