Actually, I saw that differently.

Her dad and his crew were definitely a problem, but I think Yas brought the one person she could trust who wouldn’t run and tell the world her dad was a perve, AND the one person who was actually strong enough to tell those men to fukk off while she enjoyed sailing on a yacht. When Harper emerged, there was a clear distinction between her and the other girls on the boat, just in how she carried herself.

Harper could actually protect Yas.

I know exactly what it’s like to be the girl that dudes thought they might try, but soon realized I wasn’t with the fukk shyt and would probably turn out to be a problem LOL

They probably left Yas alone because Harper wasn’t with the mess. Any other girl might’ve freaked out or tried to sue/extort them later.

And Yas definitely sat her by the Nazis, but I don’t think she literally did it to screw Harper.

Everyone there basically understood that he was the candidate running to restore “Whiteness”, like Trump/MAGA. Harper was probably the only one who didn’t.

I think her dumbass just wanted to include the only fukking friend she had and didn’t think twice about the sentiments of the mother and son or the Hitler painting hanging on the wall during her stay. She literally couldn’t pick up wtf they were on until she realized who the “artist” was. Lmao

Yas is a complete ditz who only sees what is exactly in her line of sight.

That’s why she keeps getting into these situations. She doesn’t think, AT ALL. She goes where ppl lead her.

She took on a new “client”, or is trying to make connections, whatever, and needed to gather a group of wealthy individuals to donate to his campaign. That’s as far as her mind goes.

Even having a bunch of random women come to the hotel AFTER dinner to hobnop with older men in Harper’s presence shows how much of an idiot she is.

She could’ve easily moved them to another suite, or left the party with Harper, etc. But no, she had them link up IN HER DAMN SUITE after dinner where Harper could see it all go down.

Yas is literally an idiot.

Anyone else would’ve hidden this operation and could’ve done so with ease, but not her. :dead:
Agreed. Harper has always been her protector. The night she sells Henry down the river and they go out to get blasted she tells Harper “take care of me tonight.” The kiss on the hand goodbye was a literal thanks I’m straight now.

^^^ somebody helped me out here lol
I think the Uncle genuinely felt bad for Yasmin. Clearly she manipulated him a bit by leaning into all the drugs Henry was doing, using that moment to let him know Henry is worse off than he realized. You add to that it’s a great scoop for their paper so it’s good for business. I think he agreed with Yasmin that Henry needed some tough love even though he didn’t know that Yasmin’s motive was at least 95% self preservation.

Reddit in shambles. All the Harper fans doing their touchdown dance. It’s GLORIOUS.
They're talking about how Harper is now pure good, how her character changed so much this season, which isn't true at all. Harper is still Harper, she's just not constantly in situations where she has to stab people in the back to survive.

All her energy was devoted to taking down a company we know was on bullshyt. We saw the "old" Harper when she tried to manipulate the reporter to keep going with the story and he hit her with the :gucci:

We saw that with Yas in season 2. Nowhere the same level, but Kenny or someone told Sweet Pea to get them coffee and she went "I'm not your secretary:gucci:" and Yas pulled her to the side like "I had to get the coffee, you need to do it too, it's how things work:ufdup:" and Sweet Pea hit her with the :comeon:
So it wasn't Sweet Pea, it was Venetia.

Venetia-Indy-Lewis-2-Industry-Season-2-Episode-1-Daddy-scaled.jpg

And I only remembered her because a comment under the two women's podcast brought up how in Season 3 after Nicole sexually assaults her, she goes to Yas who pretty much says that would help her career, she then went to Kenny who tried to run it up the chain.

Reading this interview with the creators after last night's episode and they say

People have been talking in all these exit interviews about links to real world examples, obviously, but like the idea of this big villain arc for Yasmin, they’re feeling like it’s sort of a 180 in the character. If you’ve been watching Industry, all the scene setting for the character was there in Season 1. She’s always been attracted to vulnerable people and how she can manipulate them. She’s always been someone that’s been attracted to transactional relationships. She’s had that in her…She treated Robert like this. So, she’s gonna do this in Season 4. She’s someone that has trauma beget upon her. She’s someone that’s been a victim of that abuse, someone that feels that like ‘This is justifiable because of the way that I’ve been treated.’ She’s also an exercise in self rationalization in that ‘I can rationalize to myself that what I’m doing is good for the people around me,’ and a really weird counterpoint to Harper, who is like, ‘I know what I’m doing is bad for the people around me.’ Yasmin is like, ‘I’m giving all these women access. I’m giving them opportunity.’ It goes back to what she said to Venetia in Season 2, allow Nicole to touch your leg and to sexually assault you, because it might be good for your career. So yeah, it looks like we’ve done that in terms of taking Harper there and Yasmin here [holds up his arms in an X formation], and then crossing them. I think the groundwork has been laid for a while. Really practically, it’s not that interesting to see Harper with a foot on the accelerator every single season and not have any progression in character.

Spent time trying to figure this out, maybe he thought Henry needed to put the fear of God in him to sort him out. Beginning of the season dude was drinking again, pointing a rifle at his uncle, Yas tells him he's shooting up, fukking around, he probably realized he could only get him under control again if he honestly felt like he was going to lose everything.
Yup. Plus henry was never gonna be in trouble like that. Thats why ending so funny. If he left he prolly woulda got killed. By staying he just had to weather the humiliation.

Harper def was better this year with things. I think she understands her value and place above people now so dont force it. For whatever good she did, she basically caused henry to lose everything. Idk why yas even friends with her. Theyre 100% competitive. Harper tells her she above it but not like she didnt make yas lose her job at pierpoint in first place and then now tender.

With that said, shes surrounded by horrible people, shes gon need to do horrible things. She came around on everyone this season and they all dissapointed her and she didnt cut them down for it…. Yet

With that said yasmins a monster. Way she said “this is gonna fundamentally change how you feel about someone” showing that eric video… while having the girl working under her in the same room.. is fukking yikes entitlement and shows shes a ditz.

Yea, Harper is just a ruthless capitalist and a narcissist. But that's where it ends. Harper is trying to make money lol.

Yas out here letting her father drown, having threesomes with her secretary, and pimping under-aged girls out. Harper would never :gucci:

Henry saw Lithuania on the passport and said
giphy.gif

The way Henry threw the passport at Whitney like a true highborn, called him a peasant and mushed his face on the window, truly disrespectful sequence :laff:

The team getting handed 2 mill bonus cheques :wow:

Sally Draper is definitely a Russian asset :lupe:

Yasmin really had Harper in a room full of Nazi's :why:

From victim to predator, Yasmin has now morphed into Ghislaine Maxwell, her need to be valued by high society and remain in it's orbit has made her a monster, how downfall will be spectacular :snoop:

I forgot how rotten Charles was, that voicemail was nasty :scust:

Harper done bossed up, rich as hell, private jets, her own team, :banderas:It's cool to see her softening up, I think she will have to leave that world for the evolution to continue.
Even on the run Whitney is still a freak ass boy, going to glory holes :hhh:

I wonder how big of a role Russia has next season and if Jesse Bloom returns
