Anyway, I think you guys are overreacting


Riley is not going to stand by and just watch the team break up. He will probably convince wade to take on a long term contract with more overall money than he is currently owed over the next two years, but with a small enough annual salary that the Heat have some flexibility. He will also probably make a movie to get Melo, and if that doesn't work, he'll re-load with some quality vet role players.


When you factor in Riley's inevitable moves (and persuasive abilities) along with the lack of other option that LeBron has if he wants to compete right away, LeBron will stay.


Yes, the Cleveland idea sounds intriguing, but if you want to compete for championships every year, you don't put your fate in the hands of un unaccomplished organization with no established coach/system.


It's much easier for the Heat to repair what they have than for LeBron to start from scratch with a new team. Look how the Spurs went about rebuilding.
