So Cal
I don't understand how ADOS is divisive when 9 out of 10 times people are standing up against bs. We saw the wave on here. 9 out of 10 threads about ADOS were created by non ADOS to be divisive but somehow ADOS is divisive.

One of the biggest problems have been non ADOS not minding their business and/or looking to insert themselves into the conversation. Who is really the problem? ADOS feels immigration is an issue, EVERYBODY from diaspora feels like it's an attack on them even though they make up a very low percentage. When it was about immigration it wasn't about them but they chose to make themselves apart of that buffer class. I hate when people act like ADOS comes out saying fukk all other black people. That's not true and you know it crabs

Again in my post I said a followers of ADOS who OD on the message are the only people who make things contentious. The 1 out of 10 so to speak, the 1 of 10 kinda do give off the bolded energy, they are a minority, but sometimes one of the louder voices in the room. But as I said in my original post I support both pan-African and ADOS movements.

Its a very old and simple concept: black people should be compensated for the generations of stolen labor and discrimination.

There is no logical reason to oppose that. People who are African or Carribean in origin should absolutely be agitating for reparations from Europe and American black people should support this in any way they can just as Africans and Carribeans should support black Americans receiving compensation from the United States.

Its not even necessarily something that federal government needs to do, states can develop their own equalization plans.

Social media got most of yall fukked up. In the non digital space most people who are black are on the same page when it comes to compensation. Lot of Africans and Carribeans want justice for what they went through and have love and support for black Americans who want justice for what we've been thru. At the end of the day there is an understanding that a group of people have purposefully terrorized, stole from, and manipulated people who have significant melanin.

Show love without hating and trying to shyt on ADOS. Nothing more, nothing less. Isn't a lot of African still being manipulated by Western powers? It ain't a goddamn Black American pulling them strings. Which country paying France or some shyt for slavery? It ain't a goddamn Black American making them pay that shyt. So fukk on about ADOS and focus on what's going on in your countries. fukk outta here

ADOS shyt should be the least of your concerns lol

Ain't nobody that's actually a descendant of slaves against reparations

Just the very idea that any of us who aren't Tariq followers are "against" the ones that are is the heart of what I AM against.

One Black army that consists of all Black people (however they measure it.. as long as they are down) is more powerful than 16 different groups of Black people who

FIGHT ONE ANOTHER

So

That's all.

U.N.I.T.Y that's a unity.
9
Trying to divide us up is the mistake. Even one united global Black army would have a tough time fighting the rest of the globe.

A bunch of fragments of that have zero chance

Yea, you did phrase it poorly because I don't see how claiming lineage is anything like claiming a religion.

And like I said, just because we're skinfolk, doesn't mean we're kinfolk. Some non-ADOS/FBA on here claim they're down with us, But when we post videos, tweets, etc. From people of their lineage talking down on us, they never defend us.

I'm 1st gen, parents are from Nigeria and I always check them or anybody talking slick about black people in any sense and vice versa, though I usually stay away from threads where black people of any background are doing c00n shyt. It's bad energy. Though I've seen @Unknown Poster defend ADOS and all black folk, and in threads I see I dap up the defense. I'll try to be a more vocal voice going forward

One thing I'll tell you first hand as a first gen is immigrants of all ethnicities are sold the milk and honey America before they get here. So they believe anyone here not doing well isn't working hard enough. Until they're here 10+ years then they actually start to see how inequity works here and how ADOS is still suppressed. Direct quote from my mom as 45 has been moving Amerikkka towards fascism, "I thought this place had laws and rules, but I guess not". Immigrants get sold the white man's ice is colder/a Eurocentric view on Amerikkka which leads to them having some low-key :mjpls:attitudes. It's very very fukked up. Moreover African societies are highly predicated and social status based off job/accomplishment so A Dr./Judge/etc. will immediately get respect from them, but they don't understand a lot of black folk in Murica who make it to those ranks are c00ns ie. Clarence Thomas, Ben Carson.

I've been saying CACs biggest assault on POC worldwide is psychological.

This is where I'm saying online got people fukked up. There's a narrative that i keep seeing here that c00ns are the rule rather than the exception in these other countries. The US and Europe reward c00ns so obviously they will prop up minority opinions that aren't representative of the whole. Most black Americans fukk with Africa and Africans and most Africans fukk with Americans and show them love. Most posters here who travel abroad talk about how well they're treated in African countries.

There are people who want Africans to think that african Americans are lazy and look down on Africans as poor, uneducated and diseased. Likewise there are people who want black Americans to think Africans worship white people and will do whatever to prop up white supremacy. Its the same old tactic thats been used for generations

1) ADOS/FBA isn't divisive
2) we never said slavery was just an American problem.

See, you didn't listen to us, which is why you said what you said.

:unimpressed:

yea thas the problem. the "us" part. the A in ADOS prevents me from wanting to take part as i see our brothers and sisters across the pond think we goofy for all the right reasons

if the A stood for african insted of american i would whole heartedly agree.

also u didnt quote the lloyds part but ok pick and choose which parts to quote me and offer no solution

seems the movement is based in emotion not logic

it will take people like walters father to make change. the fact he is not advocating for murder charges becomes the age old argument; is he a c00n?

the answer of course is no because to effect change you must remove your emotions out of the equation

when im on here and every ados supporter also moonlights as a trumpette or "both sider" then i already know the movement was tainted before it took off

p.e.a.c.e.

@UpAndComing This energy is where the divisive label stems from, I recognize this is ain't real ADOS, but some don't and group clowns like this into the greater movement.

The overwhelming majority of the "ADOS is divisive" energy comes from not wanting ADOS people to conform around an ethnic identity. Things like wanting a specific federal designation, pointing out preference for non-ADOS in hiring and admissions, ADOS casting for ADOS stories, moving away from the term "African American", are called divisive. I saw it happen in real time, it's the bottom line in all of this.

Some characters on ADOS Twitter though have that Coli energy I blame Yvette for. Would be better if Darity was at the helm. Yvette and Tone lack what I feel is a necessary leftist perspective in all liberation movements. "Institutions are unfairly allocating resources to non-ADOS people" is better than "immigrants are taking our stuff". It was easy to make Yvette look scary on the United Shades piece when you have clips screaming "THEY WANNA OPEN UP THE BORDER!!" That energy does diffuse to an extent online, and is scapegoated to hide the actual issue with ADOS, which is that if we got out way it would hinder the hemorrhaging of systems that only exist because of our struggle.

@UpAndComing is a real African nikka :salute:
Same w/ my nikka @Gold :salute:
we all are and you are not an authority on authenticating Black people :mjlol:

you rocking that maga stain with pride is like Terry crews tryna put some good spin on C.O.O.N.

and nobody was against ados movement they are the ones who said pan africanism was dead @UpAndComing they were the ones who vilified African immigrants. We opposed those negative reputations being put on us not actual ADOS.

the end.

The only reason OP made this thread is because he has outed himself as a republican and he finds comfort in the maga c00n ranks for liberal hate. nikkaz are transparent as hell on here :pachaha:
