I was looking to start as an assistant. How did you get into the business?I thought about it. I have used a manager for my property off and on for about 10 years. They spend a lot of time in court and deal with a lot of politics between tenants and landlords. The standard is 10% of rents as payment as well as a 1/2 month up front as finders fee for tenants.
I think that you need about 50 or so clients to make bread and still be able to be available for all of them. You might need an assistant.
