Eazy was never considered a rapper like that...even by the man himself. He would tell you mid-song that Cube was writing his rhymes Drake is out here screaming shyt like "Top 5" and looking for validation from the core fans of this shyt since day 1 because that's what his credibility is based on.
Is him being a cover band gonna stop people from dancing to his music? No...won't keep them from buying it either but if you don't think "legacy" matters in the long run there is no real reason for him to be running around comparing himself to Jay Z or even Mike Jack when he's essentially doing karaoke. He's obviously not just satisfied with being seen as a product..but the ghost writing shyt makes it look like that's what he is.
