1. I don't like being too dependent on one website or app for my content, it's weird. I already do that with YouTube, and I don't like it
2. I loved the days of Torrent sites where you can watch AND own the content. I like to digest what I watch, instead of watching it once then forgetting about it

You know you could just sign up for a free trial (30 days) of Netflix with a debit, credit or even a prepaid card easily and cancel before the trial is up.
