Alright. I'm going to ask a question and it may sound really daft but have you tried swapping out the current HDMI cable for another and see if it works?

A wee bit of troubleshooting yeah, but I've been in situations where I thought the port had gone bad only to find out my cord was on the fritz.

I've used about 4 of them , it's actually a known issue that there HDMI ports break easily , and I even tried it on different tvs
