let me break it down:
I'm basically on a budget with who i'm featuring on this project which is around 10Gs... now that by all means that isn't any "BIG TIME" money but fair enough to get something out of it. My boy has a good connect with some of these artist's managers and can cut good deals for features. Now in a perfect world, I'd LOVEEEE to get Drake on my sh*t but obviously i gotta face reality, i wont be able to afford him. So being that i live in texas right now, who is something like a drake and can get me some noise going on around my area? I thought about it and Kirko made a lot of sense to me, so i told my boy to hit up Kirko's manager and they're willing to do cut down the price for $3,500. That's almost a STEAL right there, so it's a no brainer i'll have him on a hook and have that's that for the single. Now i'm left with $6,500 which i can either go for Bun B or Chamillionaire, or i can cut another deal for Frankie J which in texas, he's well received by the females which is the money maker right there. Of course i'd love to do a song with my heroes Royce, Joe Budden, Even AZ, but let's be real, on a business level, i can get more out of the prior said artist for my money's worth.
