Not sure you guys know how these comittee hearings work...

The person being questioned has very litte power, the congresspeople hold all the cards.

You dont get to know the details of their questions ahead of time
You will be cut off by them while answering their questions
Any attempt to make your point if a congressperson doesnt want you to will be treated as hostile
Any attempt to ask the congressperson a question will be rebuffed.

These arent fact finding missions they are brow beating dog and pony shows to make the congresspeople look good. Anyone can look good punching someone that has both hands tied behind their back and is strapped to a chair for 4 hours (which is what these are)

And this is from someone who watched Succession two weeks ago.

fixed that for you

I think the alpha and beta male terminology is for cac bro loosers, but Mark Zuckerberg is clearly a fukking lame, no matter how much money he's got. There is a reason people compare him to Data from Star Trek.
Your idea of “lame” is misguided. You don’t become one of the top 10 most richest powerful men in the world by being a lame. Just because he’s not draped in Gucci and smashing supermodels doesn’t make him a lame.
Yeah, keep calling him beta whilst you’re slaving away at your 9-5 :russ:

TLR out there caping for Mark Zuckerberg now just because AOC and Pressley were the ones asking the questions. :dead:

Some of the questions they were asking were vague and asking for obscure details

Example: When did your COO first hear about CambridgeAnalytica?

Problems with this question: Are you referring to when she first heard the name? when the company was first pitched to her? when background research was started on the company? when she had to approve work with that company? Also do you want the exact day? Month? Year?

If Zuckerberg starts asking these questions he will be treated as argumentative and hostile.

He doesn't have to ask those questions, that WOULD be hostile. He can just give a simple answer.

"I don't know when she first heard about them, but the first meeting where the company was pitched was...." or "The company first reached out to us on...." or something to that effect. And he would give the answer to the best accuracy that he knows it. You're making it way more dramatic than it has to be if he were an honest witness.

Mark Zuckerberg is a disgrace with zero integrity, morals, and decency and Facebook just sucks. FB has empowered white supremacist groups, anti-semites, racists, white nationalists, neo-confederates and allowed them to organize in secret groups that law enforcement officials have also been apart of. FB along with Twitter and Youtube has effectively mainstreamed white supremacy and white nationalism by their outright refusal to ban these figures and groups and allowing their message to spread. Let's not even talk about the Cambride Analytica scandal and how they were caught red handed selling users information and data to givernment, or god knows who. Or how they continue to ban black people for speaking out against racism while allowing hate speech and racism to run rampant. Or how they hosted ads from russian troll farms to shift the vote towards Trump by targeting certain groups out of voting...

Mark knows he fukked up, that's why he can't even give out straight answers or just pepper nonsensical ramblings with big words to make it look like he saying something special.

While the points you make are undeniable, you could also argue those same benefits from social media has empowered the progressive movement. AOC should know this because her rise on the national stage was in large part through her social media savy.

People gotta tread carefully about pushing the government to pass policies that will silence people's voices because it will not only affect the voice of the people you don't agree with, but also your own:yeshrug:

fixed that for you

Look up the Takata airbag hearing. I prepped one of the white guys in that hearing (there are only 2), he ended up looking crazy because he was a stand in that only had a week of notice because the company I worked for at the time decided to make him a sacrificial lamb.

I like Succession (havent seen season 2 yet), its chock full of fukery.

If youre referring to me, im not caping for anyone. Republicans pull this same holier than thou gotcha shxt when they want to look good.

Could his response have been better? Sure, but he also risks the congressperson doubling down on his answer on some:

"You didnt know when your leadership became aware of a company that was part of one of the biggest data breaches in history?" :usure:

As for being tramatic the thread title says
AOC and Ayanna Pressley son Mark Zuckerberg
That sounds dramatic as hell. You can't son someone who cant respond with the full weight of their capability. Its like saying you slapped a killer with 2 strikes and an active warrant in front of the police. No one gets any stripes for that.
