Its all about counting votes in Congress and if they are in the middle of voting (as they were in this instance) and the vote tally was 420-9-1 (as it was in this instance) then why would Pelosi feel the need to strong arm one of the 9 dissenters into changing her vote from no to present? Not no to yes but no to present?

I have no clue why AOC was crying but I do know that no politician with an ounce of political savvy would waste their time coercing someone to change their vote from "nay" to "present" on a bill that passed 420 to 10.
