I'm in one of them NYC thin wall apartments and my downstairs, next door and upstairs neighbors HATE my guts :mjlol:
Them mofo's been passive aggressive towards me since the day I moved in. Banging on my wall, stomping on the floor and poking on roof. I ignore ALL shyt and hit them with the :unimpressed: while banging music on the subwoofer.

Nothing brings me more joy than pissing off these Not-in-my-backyard CACs and asians trying to dictate how I should live my life. :blessed:
Sounds annoying

This ain't my first rodeo and I know just how to tune out the bullshyt in these situations. I always hit the  when neighbors think they can out-petty me, knowing i'll be on :demonic: mode and make they lives a living hell. Even better when I know its a cac trying to be petty :ohlawd:

Depends on your building. Theres some apartments with amenities that are awesome. Indoor/outdoor pool, gym, game rooms etc
This. The trick is to get a new building. My spot was built last year, and i havent heard a peep from neighbors cause of the up-to-code building regulations. Similarly, i dont need to have heat or ac running 24/7 because of 2021 insulation requirements. Furthermore, newer developments have pest control procedures and stricter screening of applicants, meaning cleanliness is not an issue either. The folks complaining about apartment living had old (or badly managed apartments).

Of course, this is from the perspective of a single dude. If you got a wife and kids; i think its criminal to confine them to building. There is something inherently healthy about have a backyard and roaming space in one's formative years. Tho i will admit that i ironically despised suburbia growing up because of the boringness of the area, and i equally despised long commutes into the city in my teenage years and first few of college.

So while you are single or its just you and your girlfriend; an apartment in the city center is divine. As long as its new.
