Braveheart wasn't historically accurate either. If you view both films as historical fiction, they classify as Masterpieces due to their excellent narratives, action, and cinematography. Apocalypto is a woefully underrated film, but you definitely have to turn your brain off to certain aspects of the film.

The real cac fantasy was when archaeologist swore up and down the Maya were peaceful farmers.

That ending is so fukkin fire bruh. I don’t even like movies like that but I’ll watch this whenever I can. You so caught up in hoping Jaguar Paw can survive and save his family, but they threw that curveball in the end. shyt had nothing to do with the main plot of the movie, but them 10 seconds absolutely stole the show.

Right when I saw them stop on the beach I called that shyt
