My nephew is a Niners fan and I made sure of it (well his parents did but I made sure he didn't get hooked onto the Jets, so those games are never aired around him)
He's 7 and he plays pee-wee football. He told me the other day "I bet my team can beat the Jets" and all I could say was "yeah."
When you stop caring about them, your quality of life actually improves. I take my mom out to Sunday lunch on Arthur Ave. I take advantage of the parks NYC has to offer. Fantasy football is the only thing that stresses me out (that and work)
Wife and I are detached. Wasn’t until SATURDAY I asked this question:
Me: you sold the tickets?
Her: huh? Last week (UK) was a home game.
Me: that was last Sunday. Sunday is Sunday. This week (vs Panthers) is a home game.
Her: so what? I thought last week meant this would be a damn away game.
**walks away to avoid argument**
**tickets go unsold**
**didn’t bother going to game**
