Great, great post and said a lot better than how I put it. The bolded part is especially big facts. What these wokettes fail to realize is that stories are meant to portray flawed characters. People in real life are certainly flawed, so stories should reflect that. Also when you're looking at a work of art through this tiny little filter, you're losing all of the context and nuance of that work. Getting offended over how a fictional character behaves just seems pointless.

Wokette: derived from briquette. A person who uses an artificial understanding of indignity, to spur social friction and conflict. Someone who seeks to enflame discourse, while not recognizing that their positioning is simultaneously tenuous and and malodorous.
