Love Mos but he did the same to us a few years ago, and about 2 years ago I went to one of those "Mos Def performs MF Doom" shyts and he showed up drunk, knew some of the lyrics but would randomly break out in song whenever he forgot - it's one of the only times we ever walked out of a concert mid-way through.

I've seen him a few times now and am good, never going again

I saw him in 08 and he really didn't know how to hold the vibe. He would do one of his fast paced songs and then when everyone was hyped he would slow it way down. Not a particularly great performance.
