Love Mos but he did the same to us a few years ago, and about 2 years ago I went to one of those "Mos Def performs MF Doom" shyts and he showed up drunk, knew some of the lyrics but would randomly break out in song whenever he forgot - it's one of the only times we ever walked out of a concert mid-way through.

I've seen him a few times now and am good, never going again

Makes me wonder if Alc paid Mos anything to start the album lol. Because I doubt that shyt ever coming out and Alc is too respectful to admit he got fleeced.

Honestly I'm not sure how Mos even sustains himself. Living abroad can be inexpensive but when you're in London lofts and shyt? Ehh. It's not like he's getting major TV residuals, none of his albums sold enough to put him over the top either. And he rarely tours. So what is he doing for cash, besides the periodic show here or there.

Literally the first thing I think about when I remember seeing Mos live with Black Jack Johnson like 25yrs ago was him performing crazy late. Vaguely remember it being an equipment issue or some shyt, but it was hours late for a pretty short set.

I'm trying to remember how many times I've been to a show of his, but showing up late is what I associate with him and Lauryn just off reputation.
