If you're talking about the 2016 MBPs, there isn't a 15 inch model without the touch bar. Only a 13 inch. If you're looking to save money I would advise you to just go with a 2015 15 inch MBP. Adorama.com sells older MBPs, and is where I bought my 2014 MBP that still works just fine.

It says it has to be built so I'm assuming it is.
But I do see it isn't the same as far as the ports go so idk. Maybe I need to talk to somebody before I commit
2016 15 inch all have touchbars. I'm in the same boat and probably going to get a 2015 15 inch instead. I read the ones with touchbars don't have the best battery.

Yea I spoke to somebody at Apple this morning and they said the one at the bottom isn't the 2016 model. I think imma just cop the touchbar joint. I got a 4tb external with 200gb of cloud today so I'll probably cop tomorrow. Hate to see all that money go at one time:francis:

Just copped Apple MacBook Pro MLH42LL/A 15.4-inch Laptop with Touch Bar (2.7GHz quad-core Intel Core i7, 512GB Retina Display), Space Gray with Radeon 2GB graphics card :banderas:

Using this machine more for djing and music.

How's everyone else's 2016 Mac treating them? Is the touchbar worth it in your opinion?

I love the touchbar and I'm using it a lot more than I expected

But I had to put the laptop in for repairs as the keyboard had an issue. Thankfully I get a new upper case and that includes battery too. So I'll have a brand new battery after a few months of usage

Hopefully Apple Care took care of your repairs. I purchased it just in case. Good to hear you like the touchbar
