Just sold my 3 year old macbook air for $500 in anticipation for the new one, these apple products resale values are amazing.
Now just waiting for the announcement to see if the new one will be worth it.

I know loads of people that work at people and at best they've gotten is 15℅ discount..
They do get employee pricing if and only if the product is being phased out and thats at cost.
Maybe Canadian apple discount are different than the us ones.
If the 13" mac pro is really good, I'll trade in my surface book. My surface book is godly compared to the old (current) mac pro, so it's gonna take a lot to make me switch over. I was always using macs for my laptops, but MS really hit it out of the park with the surface book. We'll see what Apple brings to the table...
