look into the Shortcuts app.

You can do all kinds of things with the phone using them as well as automations.

I get a lot of use out of shortcuts designed to interact with my music.

yeah, I have my action button mapped to pull up shortcuts, and I have a ton of shortcuts. like shortcuts that open and close the garage, control the lights etc.

also, in homekit, I have my lights set up to turn on and off at a specific time during the week and different time on fri/sat nights.

homekit also works with apple tv, so for instance, I can say "turn on downstairs tv". "turn off upstairs tv". also, the siri remote for apple tv also can control homekit commands as well, so u don't gotta use ur phone if u don't want.

3 days having the 17 pro max, and the fukking battery on this thing is GAWD tier. on top of that, this phone has yet to even get warm UNLIKE my 15 pro max, which stayed getting warm ever since going to ios 26

my friend just got a blue 17 pro max yesterday from apple out in naperville. it was in stock at like all the suburban apple stores yesterday afternoon. u just gotta keep refreshing the page, and when it comes in stock, but it immediately.
