Got my phone yesterday. It's night and day running a 13PM and the new one on 26. Like it's a completely different experience.
My 13 was starting to show its age anyway on 18 and I already planned to upgrade but 26 was the nail in the coffin.
I’m going to my old stomping grounds in the Bronx today …. I’m going to see if I can find the navy blue joint

I held off so long because none of the upgrades were important enough to me. Dynamic Island, usb-c, upgraded camera. Nah.Now you gotta upgradenew phone ugly as fukk
But this laggy BS forced my hand. There is a noticeable delay from when you unlock with Face ID to when your homepage shows up. It’s not fluid anymore. It unlocks then pauses, screen flashes, then it dumps you onto the homepage.
They finally got me smh.

Exactly, I probably would’ve let this one ride a few more months but I’m foolish and upgraded the OS like a dummy. I wanted to update the watch and you can’t do that until you do the phone so smh

Unless you’re some moron on your phone all day long you’ll be fine
I picked up my phone at 11:30 AM - battery was at 67 percent
Ran the setup and download of my apps - battery was at like 57 percent afterwards (expected)
I charged to 100 percent at around 1:00 pm and have been using the phone normally since then
I woke up this morning at around 9:00 am eastern at around 61 percent
Most people will be just fine
As someone with a 2 year old iPhone 15 Pro Max that has a 12% degraded battery the phone no longer makes it a full day on a single charge. That iPhone Air battery when it degrades with age users will be the first to feel it hard.

I got the 17 pro I love it. But I can’t see my pictures in the text any more. I have to go in the actual messages and stroll up. Hate that update.

To me the OS itself is not ready for prime time. It's much more usable on new hardware but across the board the design ui/ux is a major step back. Functionality wise it's got some dope features though.
I think they're in a bad spot across the board because the design philosophy of the new Mac Tahoe OS is even worse. Rounded corners don't line up, some stuff is way too big, etc.

I have a 15 pro max at 89 percent life and I could last all day
But aside for from discord and the occasional scrolling instagram for laughs - I’m not constantly on my phone - def not on it when I’m working
I just don’t see how you’re draining your battery like that - are you shooting 4k vids for hours ? I don’t understand what you’re doing
I could make my phone last all day by not using it much but when I got the phone with a new battery I could use it heavy and it would easily make it a day.
I drive a lot and have either Audible, Spotify, or YouTube on to have stuff to listen to. At this point halfway through the day the phone hits the charger. When purchased I charged my phone only once a day at night.
