iOS 26 is smooth not gonna lie. It’s not a game changer but it’s not bad to me like people were saying.

It’s actually dope once u get used to it. Lot of quality of life updates.

The iPhone Air battery life is worse than a standard iPhone 16 when it comes to usage.

Like I said. This nikka the only one that has done testing that has these results. I’m thinking he has a faulty device. I’ve posted other reputable sources that have said opposite. Even people who actually have the device themselves.

These tests aren’t real world usage

Unless you’re some moron on your phone all day long you’ll be fine

I picked up my phone at 11:30 AM - battery was at 67 percent

Ran the setup and download of my apps - battery was at like 57 percent afterwards (expected)

I charged to 100 percent at around 1:00 pm and have been using the phone normally since then

I woke up this morning at around 9:00 am eastern at around 61 percent


Most people will be just fine

To me the OS itself is not ready for prime time. It's much more usable on new hardware but across the board the design ui/ux is a major step back. Functionality wise it's got some dope features though.

I think they're in a bad spot across the board because the design philosophy of the new Mac Tahoe OS is even worse. Rounded corners don't line up, some stuff is way too big, etc.

Agreed, I don’t care for the Liquid Glass look and it feels like it should’ve been a minor point that they talked about for 30 seconds instead of making it seem like the main event. It’s not that cool.

Few things I give props for are:

The CarPlay phone redesign. Why the fukk did we have to go 50 years with an incoming call taking over your entire screen while trying to use the map?

call screening, that’s cool.

Tahoe is a mess and very inconsistent across different apps when it comes to design. Plus I don’t like the widgets they forced on my desktop.

Everyone keeps saying it but they should really consider going to an every other year cycle on this stuff. Get it polished.

So preordering an iPhone is completely pointless. I preordered around 8:30 last Friday and up until yesterday, my order was still processing and showing a delivery date of September 24-29. I literally ordered another one yesterday afternoon and picked it up at the Apple Store just now.

The same thing happened to me. I had to cancel when I saw my order date slipped past the 19th. I think everyone was having a problem with the shipping date when they entered their payment info before the 12th.

I'm no longer doing shipping to my house. From now on I'm picking it up at the apple store. UPS came a day late today instead of delivering on the 19th. Had me waiting because they require a signature.

I have the iPhone 17. It feels similar to the 15 pro I had a few years back. I went with the 16 plus last year not realizing how bad 60hz is. It's like going back in time how janky it feels coming from a Pixel 7 and then 15 pro.

Yeah, just preorder and pick it up at the store. I had an appointment for 915 and arrived at 800 just to beat traffic and they said come on in, someone will be with you shortly with your phone. They did the same for a dude that had an appointment at 630 PM.
