I don't know many graphic designers that are gonna work off an iMac, but maybe. this just seems like a marketing ploy by apple for consumers, not professionals. The iMac has always been for consumers. Pros get Mac towers or MacBook pros.

Now if they just released the 5k monitor, instead of bundling it, that would make more sense. You could pair it with a Mac tower

I see alot of iMacs in the office i'm at. Mainly from Engineers , Marketing, and Content development folk. Which happens to be a substantial amount of the company. While I don't know one person with an iMac (everyone has MBP)

Guess its all a matter of perspective
