I directly benefited from the sale of BET as a former employee in his corporate office post BET.

The majority of his c-suite personnel and corporate office staff are Black as are the business people he breaks bread with in the ownership, management, or investment of various enterprises from being the largest Hilton/Marriott franchisee to car dealerships, hedge funds and gaming. He's singlehandedly created more Black millionaires than anyone in this country and is possibly responsible for the creation of more wealth in our community than anyone in our lifetime.
