I think Tidal is doomed unless they sell themselves to a major company that can pour money into it and develop it over the years. I think Jay has made alot of mistakes in running it as well.

But Tidal is hands down better than Apple Music. It's not even close. Sad thing is, Apple is the strongest brand in the world and has more money than anyone else, so the only way Apple Music fails is if the Streaming Music industry fails as a whole.

I wanted to hear a specific song louder in my headphones and I use Apple and only had Tidal for TLOP. Frustrated with the sound quality, I was like, let me see if it sounds better on Tidal. Boom! It was a world of difference sonically. It wasn't just louder, The song came to LIfE. Literally there was a warmth and a vibe that wasn't there in the music before at all. I couldn't even remember the last time music made me feel that was just by the acoustics alone. That's what TIDAL does and I think that's extremely valuable. It could take a while but I wouldn't sell so fast. Whatever proprietary algorithm they have to offer that HiFi sound is precious and if it's unique and it is theirs alone I wouldn't sell shyt. Apple could suck my dikk because now I think they purposely trashed them. In the beginning I didn't know what to think because I didn't have Tidal, I was using Spotify. Plus I didn't want me being a Hov Stan clouding my judgement, I wanted to get to it when the smoke cleared. Now that I gave it a shot out of necessity because of an inferior product that I primarily use, I can say with absolutely no bias, Tidal is the clear winner out of the big 3 of streaming. They have something valuable in that Tidal sound.
