These were great for my daughter cuz she had imessage and facetime and all that other shyt if I wanted to talk to her while I was away on training or something.
good for ppl that don't want to have contracts for kids but still want to have some connection for them.

When funds was low my iPod 2nd gen was my phone for a year. Too many free calling apps at the time. Sh1t was when I found out u could do dat

A lot of parents still buy them for their younger kids, so they can have a device. But they don't have to worry about the kid going over data limits, contracts, and other things go along with smart phones.

Playing music on most cell phones will kill the battery fast. A dedicated music player's battery life crushes iphone and android phone battery life. My zune battery life lasts a week between recharges and my android phone can barely make it 8 hours If I play music on it.
