The analyst in the video at the link said it would probably increase cost by $100 an iphone.

Tbh thats not bad at all. I'd imagine Apple will have mostly automated manufacturing on the phones in the US but that'll still create jobs to supervise and to make the robotics. Most phones are subsidized now over a 2-yr contract so it adds less than $5 per month in expense. I don't see anyone thinking twice about buying a locally made iPhone.
