You will be surprised how many people buy them and don't have a clue how to use them. The don't even know simple shyt like how to use the finder ejecting the device emptying the trash etc.No one actually uses MACs in the real world.

Knowing where another anonymous poster allegedly went to school is virtually useless given the amount of alumni schools have. You're the one taking shots at another poster's school prestige, but are unwilling to disclose the school you've attended. Finally, if you went to graduate school the "top 10" can change based on field and specialty (the same is true for undergraduate if you're in STEM).
The fact that you became defensive is curious though. I would have expected more from a "top 10" grad.

It's not my fault or concern that you gave out a lot information on this board, you sound messy. As it still stands, you should refrain from talking down to other posters about school prestige when your unwilling to identify yours. Not that it truly matters since different schools can use different hardware/operating systems. Allegedly attending one prestigious institution hardly speaks to all of them. I know your type though, so color me unimpressed.

My kids use Apple stuff in the classroom because its chic. I do adjunct stuff and we use Adobe Connect of all things. I've been pushing for Microsoft stuff for years. I get to use my educator's discount for things and I get Microsoft stuff. I have no need for Apple anything in my life since I retired my OG 160GB iPod in favor of streaming my music from the crib through my phone. I want to see what that Surface Pro 5 is about

seems like they are unnecessarily forcing certain equipment on people. it can work with chromebooks, but only k-12, because they wouldn't be able to enter that market otherwise. so force college kids to buy ipads because they can sell those in the bookstore and whatever is sold in the bookstore can be purchased with pell grants.
