and that is another thing ppl need to reailize. That's better than radio plays...
streaming is just on demand radio....more or less.
Radio pays out to..where is the outrage at their low percentages?

yea but they can also take that one hit and sell out shows and TV appearances. Sell features, etc. to make a hell of a lot more money.
Desiigner has only recorded like 2 songs in his whole life and he's probably a millionaire by now.
not my fault everyone wants to become an entertainer and have no fall back plan.
How many Desiigners you have walking around out there?
How many dudes (no offense to my brethren) like @Cole Cash you have walking around out there?
and that is another thing ppl need to reailize.

Yes the labels are raking the artists over the coal, as are apple and spotify. Just making a real life observation. You have a better chance succeeding going to community college than trying to entertain.not my fault everyone wants to become an entertainer and have no fall back plan.
the opportunities to become a professional entertainer are slim. the opportunities to become a professional plumber are way better.
I'm just saying, this ain't the fault of apple or spotify that ppl would rather throw all their eggs in one basket then realize that they ain't making any money like that because they were duped by big name rappers with rented houses, leased cars and borrowed jewellery.
Apple and Spotify are retail outlets thoughYes the labels are raking the artists over the coal, as are apple and spotify. Just making a real life observation. You have a better chance succeeding going to community college than trying to entertain.
Apple and Spotify are retail outlets though
They aren't doing anything different than any other retail outlet. So if ppl are gonna be mad at them then be mad at all of them. Don't just pick and choose because you personally have something against either one of them.
If I sell a song on iTunes they take 30% if I sell it at Walmart they gonna take their 30%(it's actually more) but you get the idea.
The problem is that most musicians(not just rappers. See a song sell for .99 and think that they should get it all.
All hail Apple!Apple makes a million dollars, the artist makes $910, seems fair![]()
So then why not get tidal's hifi tier which has better sound? That makes no sense.I will gladly pay double what I pay for Spotify if I had to.
The last sentence is entirely false. The internet is home to hyperbole. Literally no one has made that argument. Between the label and apple artists get nothing. That is their grievance.Apple and Spotify are retail outlets though

First off it is NOT entirely false, it is however slightly exaggerated to prove my point. The last sentence is entirely false. The internet is home to hyperbole. Literally no one has made that argument. Between the label and apple artists get nothing. That is their grievance.
Its 2016The real, problem is that no one is making good enough music to make ppl want to stream it enough to make it worthwhile.
Outside of a bunch of pop songs, no one is getting those streams.
it was like that in 1996 and 1986 and 1966,etc.Its 2016
Good music isnt nessecary popular music
Remember 5 companies own 90% of the radio market
Ppl listen what theyre told to for the most part
Trueit was like that in 1996 and 1986 and 1966,etc.
that's not just a now thing. the problem now is that there is just sooo many more artists out their flooding the market.
