The fact is, the public perception of Tidal, is that of a company being run by a black man. He's the public face of the company and that matters and that told you not use it. And regardless of whether or not he's majority owner, had it been successful, his pockets would have been one of the main pockets that we're getting lined up.
And no, don't go to extremes and hit me with the "by this logic, we should all ____" that all you nikkas use when you get called out. Let's stay on subject. Don't detour.
Fact is, you and people like you, avoided tidal like a plague and bashed it and refused to even consider it, Apple does the same thing and you flock to it. So much that you had to make an appreciation thread on it.
You can use an platform that those same artists benefit from, yet you choose to use the one that doesn't have a black face representing it. And if it's about the artists and not the platforms, then why use Apple? Because a black face isn't behind it, that's why.
