I was at best buy just browsing around and played with some laptops. They all felt like pieces of crap. That plastic feel is so :scusthov:,especially on the trackpad. I don't like using windows as well.

Same with the cellphones, the only other phone I would ever consider is the HTC one because of the finish. But I like the simplicity of ios. wp8 is not an option.

Didn't know you could turn it off :manny:

I'm happy with my iPhone honestly I have everything that I need from a phone on there. Besides I'm actually one of the few people that like iTunes.

If you lived the Apple life and enjoyed it fully you can never understand why people fvkk with it like we do :ahh:

Everything just works :blessed: No virus, no lag, no Bluescreen, no BS and no getting slower after 1 or 2 years :blessed:
I dont live the apple life and dont have any of those issues.

Brehs why do people buy iPhones, iPads, macs, when there are better devices out there? What is so good about these...I've had androids 2 years ago better than an iphone, a nexus is just as good as an iPad, and you can find multiple computers better than a Mac and you can even put Mac Osx on a computer and safe a ton of money.

Android, Microsoft, dell, hp, sony, samsung, asus all make products as good or better.
macs are shyt compared to pc's and i own both

ipads are easy to use and simple

iphone build quality is shyt, but shyt just works, i got wireless speakers in every room, knowing i can jus walk in any room and everything is in the same eco system and play songs of the itunes is just to easy for me to say no to

Why do they buy them?

Simple, they don't agree with your opinion on what's "better"

:duck: Idk about them other android phones but my droid maxx is bug free. :camby:
The more threads I read on The Arcadium the more I realize that a lot of people are tech illiterate.

I understand defective hardware and shytty product but then you get people that just have no idea what they're doing but won't admit it. Buggy, unstable phones, viruses, excessive lag, bad apps :mindblown:. I mean you got people on here complaining about Youtube ads, these people don't know how to operate adblock, you got people not knowing how to stay logged in but they just talk shyt instead of asking for help, as simple as it may be.

But then again you can't believe most of these dudes. A lot of them don't even have the products they stan and/or shyt on, not that owning these products would justify grown men stanning billion dollar companies.

I have no idea why people buy tablets at all, let alone ipads.
They're a lot more portable than laptops. I have a Note 10.1 and I haven't used a single piece of paper to take class notes this year. I have all of my notes backed up to Dropbox. I have my books, music, and files all on the cloud. It's just too convenient. :manny:

Can use actually type that fast on those things? Typing on the ipad is tedious as hell.

Way more convenient, easier to hold and read on a couch, train, plane. For me Laptops have been in the bushes since the day the iPad2 dropped. There's an app for every fukking I do and I can go almost a week on a charge.

Only use it ever gets is for work work, or torrent/newsgroup downloading. 80% of the time I'm on a tablet. I don't see me ever going back either.

I've had my Ipad Air for a month now and the bolded are true for me too. Its just easier to pick it up and use it than a laptop right now its my go to. When I want to use the internet or anything internet related its what I reach for first. I used to have a 3rd gen Ipad and couldn't use it this way because it was way too heavy and it would heat up after a while. The air doesn't seem to have those issues and the battery life is impressive.

(I have had two droid tabs in the past and they are sh)t btw)

This article goes to explain what Apple does best. Once you actually think about it, it makes a lot of sense.

Apple has to keep updating their products to keep up with the technology “Joneses”, but to their credit, they do not obsolete their old products by building an ecosystem where OS updates will work on both new and older devices.

Try updating your Samsung Galaxy S2 to Android’s new Jellybean? The Galaxy S2, at the time this article was published, has no official way of updating the software to the latest and greatest.

However what is really significant about this seven month product upgrade cycle, is that Apple can now beat the fast-followers and OEMs of this world at their own game. This, in my humble opinion, is a huge breakthrough that many pundits have missed. Especially when Apple does not technically own their factory and outsources all their manufacturing.

Think about it for a moment?

A fast follower strategy basically takes a winning product, makes the specifications 10-20% better or cheaper, and then gets it out very quick (on an average of 6-8 months). With this speed up in Apple’s development cycle, when a fast follower gets a product out, they are already obsolete as Apple not only has a the next one out, but a new model that is likely 100% better then their predecessor. (Apple claims that the iPad 4 is 2x faster than the iPad 3).

This is NOT the End of Apple

This and extreme brand loyalty and recognition.
