Price has nothing to do with this. Price and quality are mutually exclusive in the cell phone industry. Especially when it comes to how phone companies decide to subsidize phones in order to compete.
The iPhone has to be competitively and aggressively priced. Since not many people are trying to have a big ass plastic phone on their head, the Note doesn't.
At the end of the day the Note is still plastic and of inferior quality. Regardless of how much money you paid for it.

I hate using her iphone ... she hates her iphone... as a matter of fact it only serves as a source of netflix for our 2 yr old when we are out. She spends 90% of her day reading on her samsung tablet.
Andriod has better features and less restrictions.

It's not inferior. We are talking about preferences. And some people prefer a non plastic phone. Some in this thread don't think that's a valid preference. They say it doesn't matter and shouldn't be considered.
