I feel like they do it when your bill payment is late also, I've always thought that. Buying a new phone every year is stupid, especially now if they're all gonna be a grand

Wouldn't that be your provider doing that? Why would apple care if you paid your att bill? They already got their money.


I really don't understand the outrage here, they had a problem with phones with older batteries dying when charge reaches 30% or so. They solved that problem by slowing the cpu when the battery can no longer hold the charge.

So now instead of shutting off, your phone just slows down.

What's the problem?

Replacing the battery is always a solution, even if you gotta pay to have it done.

I figured it wasn’t normal if the battery isn’t charged that the performance will go down. It’s common sense, least to me. Them slowing the phones down shouldn’t be a shock either. How do we get to this check though
