Apple has announced that it sold over 10 million new iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models, just three days after the launch on September 19. From the article: "Chief Executive Tim Cook said the company could have sold even more iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models if supplies had been available. Analysts had estimated first-weekend sales of up to 10 million iPhones, after Apple booked record pre-orders of 4 million on Sept. 12, the day pre-orders opened."

I believe it. I went in two apple stores this week, and both were packed as hell the entire time.

also, while I was in the apple store, I saw a cat who came in there trying to get his iphone 6 replaced cuz he shattered the screen

usually the apple store is all about hooking u up. hell they replaced my phone after it fell in a glass of water with no apple care. but this was the first time I saw them hit a customer with the

There is no "better" ecosystem. Its based solely on what OTHER products you own breh. I have an iphone and an android as well as a pc and a macbook. There's no difference or exclusivity to anything other than Facetime and iMessage. Honest non-biased opinion here.
