I read the title of this thread wrong, I thought apple was recruiting to hiring us on, in some numbers

The only plus about Android is being that it is open source anyone can put the software on their devices, still Apple IMO has the superior Ecosystem.
Sadly most people think opening up corner stores and soul food spots are going to be enough to be independent.
The reason Africa is in the position it is now is because it has all of the resources but no infrastructure which is why the Chinese are careful with what they build out and the terms of contracts, because once Africa has infrastructure its OV for any other nation because African nations will then be able to call the shots.

lol 50 million is chump change when one university runs on more than 1 mill dollars a month.
Right now the best think Apple could do is pick a few HBCUs and sponsor their Business and Computer Science colleges and create an Apple Specific curriculum where say the top juniors enroll in if they want and completion of the degree guarantees employment with Apple being that Apple would pretty much be training you for 2 yrs to become an employee.
Many companies do this but they do these type of things at Large PWIs.

They're shareholders so they're all about the money. For them they'd rather someone get to the top by being competent and knowing what they're doing which will make the company successful and the shareholders richer than simply hiring based on quotas.
