Apple Watch: Get a Series 7 or wait until the fall?

So my Series 5 Apple Watch battery life has recently gone to shyt. If I don't charge it some mid day then it takes a small miracle for it to last until bed time before dying. I've disabled quite a lot of things to get it to last longer but I've basically run out of things to do unless I just want to make the thing nothing more than a glorified Timex.

Should I wait until the fall to replace it with the new model, or should I pull the trigger when I see a good deal on the Series 7?

Yes, I realize I can get the battery replaced for $69, but I'm not really interested in doing that.

You could also just buy one and return it before 30 days multiple times before the Series 8 if the 5 is really fukked up

Get the battery replaced breh, what is the issue? The 5 got 8 gigs of memory that's enough for at least a few more years till the 8 comes out.

Why would you spend like 350 on the same product? with the exception of festering charging it's basically the same phone.

if that happened to me though i would buy the 7 because I need the watch for workout data

it depends on what the new features of the 8 are.
if you're not using the watch that much just return it and wait for the 8 unless you got the 7 on sale
if you like it just see if the 8 is worth it and then trade in the 7 if you want

They’re saying the 8 might be a redesign but the rumors were wrong last year.

Same here, my series 3 still works. The only reason I’m thinking of getting the 8 is because I dont think the 3 will be supported much longer
