I wish I could flop like apple.

Did people really think they could keep demand as high as the initial release?
there's always gonna be early adopters for new tech. but many other people are more skeptical, and will wait for the opinions of those early adopters. if those opinions are positive, sales should continue to be pretty good. if those early opinions aren't so great, you'd expect to see a more rapid decline in sales

I could never see Jobs letting something like this get out. It would have been cooking a bit more in Cupertino.

Jobs would have never put a smart watch on the market...

Jobs may have started working on this years ago but he would have realized that in 2015 smart phones have effectively rendered watches into fashion accessories...Smart phone owners don't even use watches to tell time anymore, they use their phones...After seeing the competition struggle Jobs would have realized there really is no market for a smart watch outside of the workout niche and the $20 china joints fulfill that need...Like I said in another thread, its absolutely retarded charging people $400 for a watch that doesn't do anything more or less than they're $600 phone...

Tim Cook and his cronies have no vision, they're followers not industry leaders...They think anything they slap an apple logo on will sell but fail to realize that only applies to their sheepish stans... What made Jobs different was his ability to create a innovative product that attracted the masses and not just the apple sheep...

This is nothing more than websites trying to generate traffic. Controversy sells.

We would have to compare next year sales to really get an understanding of the market.

:usure:MacBook Air "Core 2 Duo" 1.6 13" (Original) Specs (MacBook Air - Original, MB003LL/A, MacBookAir1,1, A1237, 2142*) @ EveryMac.com

1.6ghz core 2 duo
2GB ram not upgradable
80GB HD
$1799?
Even I can't co-sign that and I'm a mac stan.
All of those ultra portables were expensive back then.

Not sure what you are trying to prove.

The apple watch is different, it's a device that needs to be tethered to your iPhone. Jobs would have NEVER let that come out, it would have to be more functional out of the box
