Insignificant posting from an insignificant poster
Downloading and music ownership is for real fans

Streaming is for casuals :yeshrug:

Won't cave into the stream theme.

Told my dad I'm investing in a supercar and he told me to lease it.

Even if it makes sense... it doesn't feel right.

Like to be in control of things in my life...

I just like to own my shiit.

Still use I-Tunes daily, as a matter of fact, as I'm posting now... and every song on there is downloaded from one source or another. But i own EVERY SINGLE TRACK/ALBUM.

Streaming is so fukkin' lazy and i hate that it's the norm but that's just the sign of the times.

iTunes =/= Buying muisc

The company is reportedly planning on replacing iTunes – the application consumers have used to download music, movies and more – with three separate apps: Music, TV and Podcasts.

Apple to shut down iTunes: report

:ld:

The move, which has been rumored for years now, will align Apple’s media strategy across the board: iPhones and iPads already offer separate Music, TV and Podcast apps in lieu of the centralized iTunes app that lives on Macs and Macbooks. Users can expect the new Music app to offer some of the same functionalities that iTunes currently does — such as purchasing songs and syncing phones — just with a sleeker interface that’s free of the outdated and oft-bemoaned features of the heritage product, and more closely bundled with streaming service Apple Music.

Speak for yourself

Just because you're not tech savvy and you defer to monopolistic companies to tell you when you should stop using perfectly usable/functional devices, that doesnt mean that we all share your problem

I own 2 fully functional 160 gig gen 8 iPods each with 22,000 songs on them. I keep my iTunes perfectly organized and have been doing so for literally 19 years

I walk around with 22,000 songs in my pocket at all times(many of them are not available on any streaming sites)

But keep continuing to pay monthly for the right to listen to the same songs because apple tells you to

You're so so ahead of the game breh:rudy:
