Won't cave into the stream theme.

Told my dad I'm investing in a supercar and he told me to lease it.

Even if it makes sense... it doesn't feel right.

Like to be in control of things in my life...

I just like to own my shiit.

Still use I-Tunes daily, as a matter of fact, as I'm posting now... and every song on there is downloaded from one source or another. But i own EVERY SINGLE TRACK/ALBUM.

Streaming is so fukkin' lazy and i hate that it's the norm but that's just the sign of the times.
Same. I have over 1000 songs on my phone that are saved on a USB drive. Not every song/album is available through streaming. Sometimes you have to download shyt like the old days.

Back when I used to be an amateur DJ, spent hours and hours finding the most obscure remixes. Had to pay top dollar on discogs for those promo only CDs...beatport, djcity, itunes, torrents, you name it.

Think most of my collection gone now when my last macbook died :mjcry: iTunes was a bytch to work with though

Now that I am a casual, only use spotify and livemixtapes. Doesn’t have anywhere near the remix library I once had but I’m a casual now so just putting on RapCaviar and calling it a day :manny:

Must say the “curated” mixed on spotify or Apple Music is shyte...they paying so much and cannot get good playlists up there. Livemixtapes top 10 tracks kills it

Check out europaplus.ru for some dope mixes.

End of an era but looks like the concept of ownership is gone :sadcam: Miss the 90s and 2000s :mjcry:

shyt everything so expensive these days. They keeping us drugged up on porn, junk food, and we just slaves these days...need a fukking revolution

That ain't no shyt to shrug at :what: You saying y'all need three apps to add music on your phone??? :why:
You manually adding podcasts and movies that frequently to your phone :comeon:
No you are not:martin:
You are 99% of the time adding music and you will still be able to do that with the new Apple Music desktop app.
I never open iTunes on my phone because they moved all the music over to Apple Music app.
Apple is just doing the same thing with the desktop app.

This is why you should buy your albums...:francis: imagine all that music you purchased on Itunes... Gone in an instant and you can't back up any album... At least with amazon music I can download to a HDD and send my music anywhere without having to worry about deletion... :mjlol: #Appleistrash

i feel like it won’t make much different in my viewing experience. Maybe streamline it differently, but that’s it :manny:

I guess that can happen but if you own the music, Apple has a record of it

If my personal Apple music library gets wiped out somehow, i can just re-download that music via the app

If I purchased MJ Thriller back in 2011 on iTunes, its in my library FOREVER
I can download a copy of MJ Thriller to any computer or phone I'm signed into

If you are talking about all the music I downloaded since the late 90s from Napster to torrents, thats already backed up on my hard drive, I've uploaded all of it to the Apple cloud and Apple tries to match it to songs/albums already on Apple music, sometimes poorly of course

If its not on Apple music, like all the mixtapes, randoms, etc, Apple uploads those songs/albums to your cloud

If the cloud explodes one day, I still have all those songs on my hard drive anyway

I got 3 iphones, 1 personal, 2 work

my personal and 1 work phone is signed into Apple music with my account so I have access to everything I've uploaded to the cloud and everything that exists on Apple music because I pay the monthly fee ($5 with my college edu)

the other work phone is not signed into Apple music and it just has music directly from my hard drive on it meaning I have to connect it to my desktop and via my iTunes local library, copy music over to that phone manually

all those boogie man stories about iTunes were all fake news

It’s the software program, not the store where you can purchase media. And good, the iTunes software was beyond garbage....damn near from inceptions to death. Apple sucks at software, they can make a decent OS, that’s if you like iOS or macOS, but their software programs are :flabbynsick:

I swear y’all make no sense

I make data discs(for the whip) with 95-100 songs per cd with songs I purchased or downloaded over years, if you don't subscribe to a streaming service which I don't then I CAN'T do this dumb ass

fukk paying for a streaming service I buy what I want to listen to
