Subtle, but "About This Mac" window said it's running macOS 11.0
macOS 10 is going to be a thing of the past
They already removed the 10 out of the name.
I doubt we'll see an iPad with MacOS...what I think we'll see is the two OS' merge..iOS is gonna become more like Mac OS and MacOS is gonna become more like iOS and they will end up fusing into something different that works well for touch, keyboard, and mouse.
