Still not getting a new computer until probably the end of the year so hopefully they add the M2 to the mini. The M1 mini is still solid for me though

C/s the bolded. I know they added the ability to create apps on iPads using Swift Playgrounds last year, but I don't think they've announced any major updates this year, which is disappointing.

I'm just glad those features are coming to current ipads. I read that only M1 ipads would be able to use the new features. my ipad pro is 2 years old.

there's absolutely no reason the mini needs an m2. the m1 is already overkill for that ipad.
