who likes to shop at Harbor Freight?
positives:
1. always use a "25% off one item" coupon- go through the line multiple times if i have to
2. always get a free item (or some clerks let you do 2-3 at a time)
3. 1/3 of the entire store is on sale at a time- if you can wait, the item you want will possibly be on sale next month (and still stack the 25% off)
4. the parking lot sales where they get rid of returns/mismatches = deep savings
current free items: six pack of screwdrivers, headlamp, 50' rope, worklamp, 25' tape measure, power strip, and those flyswatters shaped like a tennis racket
negatives:
1. the stores are usually hot and smell like body odor
2. the employers are grumpy and tired
3. some tools are laughably cheap (won't even work one time without breaking)
4. stores usually located in a shady part of town
i was losing so many tools to "borrowing" (never returned)
then some fool broke into my truck and stole my good stuff
so now i just keep all of my tools cheap and replaceable
who else likes harbor freight?
