Aquemini vs. ATLiens

Both are great to me, but ATLiens gets my vote considering it was the first legit cd I had as a youngin and its the one that still gets played by me from time to time. But in the end all this thread did was make me sad that we haven't gotten another outkast album in while and we probably won't see another true one in this life time.

ATLiens...from the moment you hear "greeting earthlings" you have five bonafide classic 5 star certified face melting masterpieces in a row, starting with Two Dope Boyz (In a Cadillac)...the bomb drops and in comes ATLiens...then Wheelz of Steel...then Jazzy Belle...then Elevators.

not to mention the other classic joints on there. Aquemini is great too. But I have to give the very slight edge to ATLiens. I remember when Southernplayalistic came out, it was like ok...these cats are pretty dope...then Elevators hit the airwaves and nikkas was like I gotta go buy this shyt. That shyt was unreal.

Aquemini is my favorite Hip-Hop album ever, and arguably my favorite album ever, any genre. ATLiens isn't very far behind (top 3-5 Hip-Hop album, depending on the day). So I guess that means Aquemini is better to me.

Can't really argue with either choice, but to me, they were in the perfect place artistically, and obviously weren't afraid to push boundaries, and Aquemini was the result of that combination. In the world of Hip-Hop Music, it literally doesn't get any better than that. In my opinion of course.
