AR Ab the same nikka who jumped on Drizzy side in the beef when Drake was obviously using him as a chess piece. He dont have no room to say what nikkas did during the Drizzy beef. Atleast they didnt flat out jump on the other side. Dude more mad they supporting Meek if anything. City of brotherly love ain't got no loyalty at the end of the day.
I disagree. You got great lines, as great as any other dis records in history. Philly is about conviction and intensity but also embarrassing bars, not flow. If people consider Ether and Takeover great dis tracks, Philly have those beat. And Cassidy was one of the forerunners of that new super punchline/witty battle rap.
IMO, people will always like Beanie as the greatest street Philly rapper but his dis tracks aren't top of the pile either...so name has a lot to do with it.
Nah. When Drake mentioned AB. He was all happy on social media and actin like he was bout to be in OVO or some shyt. I remember clearly. He didn't flat out rep Drake but he damn sure added fuel to the fire.He didn't jump on Drake side.
He was neutral until AB wouldn't say anything on Meek behalf then Meek said fukk AR AB at that concert then that's when AB went in.
AB never helped Drake

Your post pretty much outlines the Philly rap scene. Y'all look at it one way, the rest of the world sees it totally differently. That shyt you're talking about doesn't stick, especially when y'all are coming at people outside of Philly. Y'all be talking about what happened on another dude's block in a way that only Philly dudes get. But Nas said "In '86 you was getting chased from your building, calling my crib and I ain't even give you my numbers, what I did is give you a style that you can run with" it just hits harder because it wasn't just "you got chumped on your block". Nas was trying to break Jay down completely.
When I listen to old Cassidy disses he says ALOT of slick shyt, but it just doesn't hit you in the gut. You kinda forget about it afterwards. But Beans gives you the feel. He really sat down and broke down all of his issues with Jay. He could have wrote a letter saying those same things, but he put it together in rhyme form over a beat. That's a different type of talent, we just don't hear that type of depth from Philly lyricists. When he went at Jada it was bar after bar after bar of good lines, no cutesy flow shyt.
I like Ab & Dark, but they've never broken anyone down with a diss record. This Quilly shyt was nice, but I won't go back to it. What did he say about Game that stuck with me? Nothing. People from outside of Philly play Gillie's slick talking blogs more than his diss records.
Damn I don't even want to say it..... but fukk it... a comedian had one of the most memorable diss records out of Philly. And there's thousands of Philly dudes who have recorded diss records that rap way better than dude. That should tell you something.
Can you name 20 diss records out of Philly that are better? Nyggas wanna flow and mean mug, but that can only take you so far.
^^^^^ this nikka just said that fukkin Katt Williams diss track is better than most Philly diss records. Smh. shyt State Prop on Hot 97>>>>>> whatever u talkin bout.
, let me hear something... you're going to post a bunch of old freestyles with fire flows and 3 or 4 hot lines
Maybe some nikkas feel that Meek won the first round
How's that dikk eating or hating Game, I'm sure nikkas was havin a discussion about the diss tracks, you know, on some hip hop shyt, remember that, before social media groupthinkwhat u mean ?He did, through his pen.
