It seem extremely hard for people to accept that while Ab was being reckless as hell with them interviews, that he still would be in this position without them and that the police had much stronger and real evidence and none of these videos were a factor. The self snitching thing is a much more interesting narrative to people. But people cannot seem to separate the two and understand that while dumb, those interviews were not a determining factor in any type of way.

They didn't help him. They were used to portray him in a light that could have some affect on the jury. It's happened a few times with Philly rapper cases - they played their music to say "this is the type of person you are, and what you do"
