All of those racial archetypes beat and murder their female counter parts too. Not at as high rates as black men do, as high DV rates correlate with high rates of all other violent crimes in the black community, but they certainly have larger gender ratios between the rate the men commit DV and the rate the women do.
The issue with black males, is the desensitization, downplaying, and glorification of violence, lack of skills to deescalate conflicts, a lack of sound ethics & etiquette in how we're suppose to conduct ourselves as fully grown adult men with people who aren't and the inherent extra responsibility that goes along with being a fully grown adult male, coupled with lack of civic stewardship towards the happenings of our community("Iz not my bizness" crap) thus why you'll get a lot of black men and the occasional non-black man who will physically assault black women, elderly, and children and have a bunch of brother who not only wont step into the help(despite have LEGAL protection from good samaritan laws), but will actually come up with 1001 excuses and potential justifications.
It's a lot deeper than just "black men defending black women's honor" or some romantic shyt like that.
