Arch can make every throw and should be good this year but I hope this weekend shows people how stupid the bandwagon shyt in the media is. This isn't about sports, it's about the media promoting itself. Everyone wants to be the person who "got it right" whether that means calling him generational or calling him a bust. And then after the game everyone has to defend their position instead of talking about the actual game, performance, etc. Hence Orlowsky rushing out to claim Texas had training wheels on Arch. No mention of his TERRIBLE mechanics - which would have been the first thing he'd say about any other QB (especially a black one lol). No mention of bad decision making, and no mention of Caleb Downs confusing him all game.
This is basically the LeBron treatment, expanded to football. You saw it with Sanders, now Arch. They're gonna drive this shyt into the ground until people are tired of it. Solely because they THINK his name is gonna sell ads for them (ie people tune into the media to hear about him). Meanwhile a bunch of QBs had really good games on Saturday and Sunday. Especially Garrett Nussmeier but also Bryce Underwood, Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, and LaNorris Sellers. Yet none will get a fraction of the coverage Arch gets after the holiday when all the talking head shows recap the weekend.
